LHRH binds the gonadotropin releasing hormone receptor on gonadotrope cells in the pituitary gland, stimulating phospholipase C to release calcium and activating protein kinase C. It controls many functions including follicular growth, ovulation, corpus luteum maintenance in females, and spermatogenesis in males. The D-Lys6 analog acts as a potent LH-RH agonist and is less prone to degradation. It is the free acid analog of Cat# <a href="https://echelon-inc.com/product/lh-rh-d-lys6/">550-46</a>. |
