Comprehensive Range of Lateral Flow Assay
A lateral flow test (LFT) is an assay also known as a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay or rapid test. It is a simple device intended to detect the presence of a target substance in a liquid sample without the need for specialized and costly equipment. Lateral flow assays have a wide array of applications and can test a variety of samples, like urine, blood, saliva, sweat, serum, and other fluids. They are used in clinical laboratories, hospitals, and physicians for quick and accurate tests for specific target molecules and gene expression. LFTs operate on the same principles of affinity chromatography as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). In essence, these tests run the liquid sample along the surface of a pad with reactive molecules that show a visual positive or negative result. The pads are based on a series of capillary beds, such as pieces of porous paper or polymer. Each of these pads has the capacity to transport fluid (e.g., urine, blood, saliva) spontaneously. NanoComposix is a full-service lateral flow development company specializing in the design and manufacture of ultra-sensitive quantitative diagnostic assays. Their services span all phases of the development cycle, from feasibility to manufacturing. They also offer industry-leading technologies for increasing assay sensitivity as well as starter kits to help build and optimize your lateral flow assay. BTL Biotechno Labs Pvt. Ltd., a proud channel partner of NanoComposix in India, offers a range of different conjugation kits that can be used to screen, optimize, and build lateral flow assays. These kits feature a range of components that allow quick and easy screening of a range of different materials, saving on both time and money during research and development. We also provide LFT custom services to the scientific community for the development of food safety assays, kits for the detection of physiological disorder biomarkers, therapeutic drug monitoring, infectious disease detection by nucleic acid lateral flow kits, and disease-causing bacteria detection.
