Ionizable Lipids By Echelon Bioscience

Ionizable Lipids By Echelon Bioscience

Echelon Bioscience stands as a global frontrunner in the field of biochemical reagents, assays, and peptides customized for academic research and pharmaceutical development. Their aim is to advance the science of lipid signaling by developing novel research reagents, assays, and ultimately technology leading to drug treatments and diagnostics for debilitating diseases.

BTL Biotechno Labs Pvt. Ltd., as a sole distributor of Echelon Bioscience in India, is delighted to introduce their newly launched Ionizable Lipids as follows:
1. MIC2 is an ionizable lipid used to formulate lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for delivering RNA to cells. MIC2 exhibits much higher mRNA translation efficiency compared to the SM-102 LNPs. The MIC2-delivery systems mRNA vaccines successfully trigger robust and durable humoral immune responses against SARS-CoV-2 and its variants. Importantly, the MIC2-LNP vaccines have higher RBD-specific IgG titers and neutralizing antibody titers than SM-102-based delivery systems mRNA vaccines.
2. DOG-IM4 is an ionizable lipid which is used to deliver mRNA by forming lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). DOG-IM4 can improve the thermostability of mRNA/LNP in combination with helper lipids.
3. 80-O18 is an ionizable lipid used to generate lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for delivery of proteins. A GFP-Cre recombinase fusion protein encapsulated in 80-O18 LNPs was delivered to the cytosol of HeLa-HGM cells. Cytosolic delivery was measured by a chloroalkane penetration assay.
4. 4-O10b1 is an ionizable lipid used to generate lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for delivering RNA to cells. LNPs composed of 4-O10b1 and conjugated with the macrophage antibody F4/80 were able to deliver siRNA targeting TAK1 to RAW264.7 cells resulting in suppressed activation of NF-kB. Intranasal administration reduced lung injury in an influenza mouse model.
