Position Overview

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and building strategic customer relationships. The role focuses on new account acquisition, territory expansion, and long-term revenue growth within the life sciences sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • ✔ Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territory
  • ✔ Generate new leads through field visits, institutional outreach, and market research
  • ✔ Establish and maintain relationships with academic institutions, research labs, biotech companies, and pharmaceutical organizations
  • ✔ Introduce new product lines and principals to potential customers
  • ✔ Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis
  • ✔ Coordinate with internal sales and technical teams to convert opportunities into orders
  • ✔ Prepare business proposals and support commercial discussions
  • ✔ Achieve monthly and quarterly new business targets
  • ✔ Maintain structured pipeline tracking and CRM updates
  • ✔ Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and industry events

Minimum Qualification

Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field).

Experience

1–4 years of experience in business development, field sales, or related roles within the life sciences industry.
