New Additions to the Antibody Product Range of Aves Labs

New Additions to the Antibody Product Range of Aves Labs

Aves Labs, based in Davis, California has pioneered novel algorithms for finding the most highly-immunogenic sequences within proteins and leveraging this expertise to produce antibodies with unparalleled performance. With extensive experience in developing novel antibody reagents, Aves Labs offers custom antibody services to design and produce the perfect antibody for research.
We, BTL Biotechno Labs Pvt. Ltd. an authorised distributor of Aves Labs in India, we take pride in announcing the launch of their three New Antibodies for studying the Golgi Apparatus and the Endoplasmic Reticulum:
Anti-GOLGA2 (Chicken Polyclonal Antibody): GOLGA2, also known as GM130, is a Golgi matrix protein critical for the proper functioning and organization of the Golgi apparatus. This protein is pivotal in ensuring that proteins and lipids are correctly modified, sorted, and sent to their destined locations, which is essential for various cellular processes including secretion, plasma membrane repair, and lysosome function. GOLGA2's role in cellular homeostasis and its effect on the Golgi apparatus associates it with several neurodegenerative and congenital disorders.

Anti-Calnexin (Chicken Polyclonal Antibody): Calnexin is a vital chaperone protein involved in the quality control of glycoprotein folding within the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), facilitating correct folding and preventing aggregation. Calnexin calcium-dependent binding highlights its role in calcium homeostasis within the ER. The importance of calnexin extends beyond protein folding; it is crucial for immune function, as it assists in the assembly of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules, thus playing a part in antigen presentation.

Anti-GOLGB1(Chicken Polyclonal Antibody): GOLGB1, also known as Giantin, is a protein associated with the Golgi apparatus, playing a key role in maintaining its structural integrity and facilitating vesicle trafficking between the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi. Discovered within the context of Golgi apparatus research initiated by Camillo Golgi in 1898, the molecular cloning and sequencing of the GOLGB1 gene in the early 1990s allowed detailed studies of its structure and function, revealing its role in stacking Golgi cisternae and influencing various cell signaling pathways.
