Pre-Pro-Vasopressin Antibody

Vasopressin is the biologically active hormone; neurophysin II is a carrier molecule for vasopressin; and copeptin is the c-terminal glycosylated end-product. Anti-Pre-Pro-Vasopressin Antibody detects uncleaved pre-pro-vasopressin, accurately identifying locally produced vasopressin versus peripheral uptake of hypothalamic vasopressin or related peptides. This key research antibody will help in discovering immunoreactive vasopressin outside of the brain by recognizing localized vasopressin in the human and mouse kidney, specifically in the distal nephron. This antibody has reactivity against humans, mice, and rats and has been used in scientific applications like western blotting, Immunocytochemistry, Flow Cytometry and Competition assay.
