Motile bacteria will diffuse from the line of inoculation, while non-motile organisms will only grow along this area. Enzymatic Digests of Gelatin and Beef Extract provide the main nutrients essential to bacterial growth: amino acids, peptides, carbohydrates, vitamins, and electrolytes. Sodium Chloride maintains osmotic balance. |
