| Target | CD19 |
| Host | Human |
| Purity | >95% as determined by Bis-Tris PAGE |
| Scientific Background | CD19 is a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein that plays a central role in B cell activation and humoral immune responses. Functions as coreceptor for the B-cell antigen receptor complex (BCR) on B-lymphocytes. Decreases the threshold for activation of downstream signaling pathways and for triggering B-cell responses to antigens. Activates signaling pathways that lead to the activation of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and the mobilization of intracellular Ca2 stores. |
| Molecular Mass | The protein has a predicted MW of 34.7 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 50-60 KDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result. |
| Sl Sequence | Pro20-Lys291 |
| Solubility | Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1mg/ml for 500μg or 1mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking. |
| Appearance | Lyophilized |
| Endotoxin Levels | Less than 1 EU per μg by the LAL method. |
| Expression System | HEK293 |
| Gene Id | P15391-1 |
| Amino Acid Sequence | Recombinant Human CD19 Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag at the C-Terminus; It contains Pro20-Lys291. |
| Storage | -20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt.;-80°C for 3 months after reconstitution.;Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles. |
