| Scientific Background | Integrin αLβ2 is one member of the integrin family and also called leukocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1). It is widely expressed on T lymphocytes and controls the function and, in particular, the migration of immune cells[1]. Active αLβ2 can bind ICAM1/CD54, ICAM2, ICAM3 and JAM1[2]. |
| Molecular Mass | The protein has a predicted MW of 123.30 kDa (ITGAL) and 79.60 kDa (ITGB2). Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 160-180 kDa (ITGAL) and 90-105 kDa (ITGB2) based on Bis-Tris PAGE result. |
| Sl Sequence | Tyr24-His1087 (ITGAL) acidic tail & Gln24-Asn702 (ITGB2) basic tail |
| Solubility | Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1mg/ml for 500μg or 1mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking. |
| Appearance | Lyophilized |
| Endotoxin Levels | Less than 0.01 EU per μg by the LAL method. |
| Expression System | HEK293 |
| Gene Id | P24063-1(ITGAL)&P11835(ITGB2) |
| Amino Acid Sequence | Recombinant Mouse Integrin alpha L beta 2 (ITGAL&ITGB2) Heterodimer Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag at the C-Terminus of ITGAL.It contains Tyr24-His1087 (ITGAL) acidic tail and Gln24-Asn702 (ITGB2) basic tail. |
| Storage | -20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt.;-80°C for 3 months after reconstitution.;Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles. |
