| Description | Recombinant Mouse Integrin alpha V beta 8 (ITGAV&ITGB8) Heterodimer Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag at the C-Terminus.It contains Phe31-Val988(ITGAV) acidic tail & Gly22-Ser679(ITGB8) basic tail. |
| Target | Integrin alpha V beta 8 (ITGAV&ITGB8) Heterodimer |
| Host | Mouse |
| Purity | > 95% as determined by Bis-Tris PAGE;> 95% as determined by HPLC |
| Scientific Background | Deletions of the genes encoding the integrin αVβ8 (Itgav, Itgb8) have been shown to result in abnormal vascular development in the CNS, including prenatal and perinatal hemorrhage. Other work has indicated that a major function of this integrin in vivo is to promote TGFβ activation. |
| Molecular Mass | The protein has a predicted MW of 111.6(ITGAV) & 76.6(ITGB8) kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 80-140 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result. |
| Sl Sequence | Phe31-Val988(ITGAV) acidic tail & Gly22-Ser679(ITGB8) basic tail |
| Solubility | Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1mg/ml for 500μg or 1mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking. |
| Appearance | Lyophilized |
| Endotoxin Levels | Less than 1 EU per μg by the LAL method. |
| Expression System | HEK293 |
| Gene Id | P43406(ITGAV)&Q0VBD0(ITGB8) |
| Amino Acid Sequence | Recombinant Mouse Integrin alpha V beta 8 (ITGAV&ITGB8) Heterodimer Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag at the C-Terminus.It contains Phe31-Val988(ITGAV) acidic tail & Gly22-Ser679(ITGB8) basic tail. |
| Storage | -20 to -80°C for 24 months as supplied from date of receipt.;-80°C for 3 months after reconstitution.;Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles. |
