Scientific Background Hepatitis B virus (HBV), is the leading cause of liver diseases infecting an estimated 240 million persons worldwide. Molecular Mass The protein has a predicted MW of 50.5 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 52-62 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
